The Las Vegas Raiders will most certainly attempt to address the quarterback situation in the coming offseason, and the draft may be the best place to do so, with an enticing crop of quarterbacks available in 2025. Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers appears to be the best of the group, and the Draft Network’s most recent mock draft sees him heading to Las Vegas.
According to Draft Network expert Justin Melo, “Ewers has demonstrated the necessary improvement this season, as evidenced by his big-time win at The Big House.” In that road win against Michigan, Ewers had great anticipation, pocket awareness, and field vision that will pique the interest of NFL scouts.
He is now struggling with an abdominal injury that kept him out of the team’s most recent triumph, but it is not anticipated to last long. The Raiders allegedly pondered benching current starter Gardner Minshew in favour of Aidan O’Connell before this week’s game against the Cleveland Browns, but have decided to stick with Minshew for the time being. Neither is the long-term solution for this brand; perhaps Ewers will be.
