The Washington Commanders enter Week 4 of the 2018 NFL season with considerable momentum. They recently defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 38-33, on the road during a primetime game.

On the greatest platform, Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels made an immediate impact. Now he’s on the road to face the Arizona Cardinals in an attempt to maintain his momentum.

Daniels, on the other hand, will not have Austin Ekeler to help him. The great running back is not with the club in Arizona because he received a concussion on Monday and had to leave the game against the Bengals in the third quarter.

Not only will the Commanders miss the top running back, but they will also be without important pass rusher Clelin Ferrell, who Washington head coach Dan Quinn has already ruled out for the Week 4 game.

Washington’s injury report, however, received an update on Thursday, providing details on several more crucial players before the team faces the Cardinals:
DNP:

WR Jamison Crowder, Calf.

RB Austin Ekeler suffered a concussion

DE Clelin Ferrell’s Knee

LP:

G. Sam Cosmi, Achilles

CB Ben St. Juste, Chest.

FP:

CB Emmanuel Forbes Jr., Thumb

S. Quan Martin, Elbow

DT Jer’Zhan Newton, Foot.

Tight end Zach Ertz has returned from his rest and is practicing again. Another positive update is that Sam Cosmi was a limited participant after missing Wednesday’s practice due to an Achilles issue.

The first time wide receiver Jamison Crowder appeared on the injury report, it was for rest, which was later altered to a calf issue. He missed his second consecutive session on Thursday.

Safety In contrast, Quan Martin has returned to full participation in practice after being limited on Wednesday.

Washington’s defence will benefit greatly from improved health before their third travel game of the season.
