BREAKING: Bills On Fire Following Josh Allen and Amari Cooper Clash After Bill- Brown Trade – NFL and Bills World In Total Melt down

With a victory over the New York Jets on Monday, the Buffalo Bills extended their lead in the AFC East. Just one day later, they traded for Amari Cooper, a real No. 1 wide receiver for quarterback Josh Allen, from the Cleveland Browns on Tuesday. Cooper’s joy for a fresh start was palpable as he transitioned from one of the NFL’s worst offences this season to the AFC’s second-highest scoring squad. For all of Cooper’s nice comments about his new quarterback, Allen had plenty of love for the 30-year-old pass-catcher. Allen and Cooper discussed the move on Wednesday, giving each other great accolades.

Allen acknowledged the emotional boost that comes with acquiring a player of Cooper’s calibre, as well as the fact that the entire offence will welcome the five-time Pro Bowler with open arms, as ESPN’s Alaina Getzenberg reported.

“Absolutely, it’s Amari Cooper, so, we’re very excited about that,” Allen said when asked whether the arrival provides an emotional lift for the offence. “I know the whole offence is, and that receiver room, they’re going to welcome him with open arms and be ready to work with him, and try to learn from him, too, because he’s had a lot of success in this league and obviously holds a lot of knowledge, so I think it’s going to help our guys a lot.”

Getzenberg then emphasized Cooper’s remarks on Allen, with the 30-year-old referring to his new colleague as “one of the top quarterbacks in the game.” “As far as the way [Allen] plays, I mean, it’s phenomenal,” remarked the quarterback. “Every time I turn on the television and watch him play, he plays with a lot of grit, hustle, and hard work, and he’s clearly been one of the best quarterbacks in the league for quite some time. So, just being able to play with him and experiencing that in person, I think it’ll be really wonderful.
