The Minnesota Vikings have found a solution to their left tackle situation.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Vikings acquired Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Cam Robinson in exchange for a draft pick. The Vikings will receive a seventh-round pick in 2026, while the Jaguars will receive a fifth-round pick in 2026, which could become a fourth-round pick depending on playing time.
Robinson, Jacksonville’s second-round choice in 2017, is slated to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. He has started 91 games for the Jaguars in the last eight seasons. Robinson has allowed four sacks in his seven appearances this season.
The Vikings were in severe need of a left tackle after four-year veteran Christian Darrisaw sustained a season-ending knee injury in Thursday night’s 30-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Backup left tackle David Quessenberry struggled after Darrisaw went down, and quarterback Sam Darnold was sacked twice in the second half, including a game-winning safety in overtime.
Minnesota and Jacksonville will face off in Week 10 at EverBank Stadium.
