OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED AND SEALED: Vikings Have Officially Sign Offensive Lineman With an Incredible and Insane Stats. In a Blockbuster Trade With Jaguars

The Minnesota Vikings wasted no time in repairing the huge hole in their offensive line created by the season-ending injury to outstanding left tackle Cam Robinson. The team announced on Wednesday that it has acquired offensive tackle Cam Robinson in a trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Robinson and a seventh-round pick will be traded to the Vikings in exchange for a conditional fifth-round pick from Jacksonville. If Robinson passes the playing time requirements, the Jags could receive a fourth-round draft pick in 2025.

According to reports, the Jaguars have agreed to pay $7 million of Robinson’s $9 million salary for the rest of the season. This allowed the Vikings to add him to the roster without having to perform any salary-cap manoeuvres.

While teams seldom let go of starting-caliber left tackles like Robinson, the Jaguars were ready to do so because he will be a free agency in the spring. For the Vikings, giving up a potential fourth-round pick for a rental is worth it since they believe they can make a long playoff run following a great start to the season.

The Jaguars selected Cam Robinson in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Since then, he has started 91 games, including the first seven in 2024. Robinson sat out the Week 8 game against the Green Bay Packers, with Walker Little taking his place as starter.
