“I Can’t Imagine He Will Be Back” Raiders Fans Overjoyed After Receiving Good News Of Raiders Hiring a New Head Coach To Replace Antonio Pierce

The Las Vegas Raiders entered the 2024 season hoping to improve on last year’s performance. Given how the 2023 season ended for Las Vegas, there was cause for optimism.

However, after nine games, they are 2-7 and appear to be looking at another top five selection pick in the 2025 NFL selection. According to reports, (at least) one major shift is on the horizon.

Giving the full-time head coaching position to someone with only two years of NFL coaching experience was a hazardous decision. If the risk does not pay off, Pierce appears to be out of options:

Former Raiders quarterback Rich Gannon seemed to believe so. The former MVP appears to be entirely done with Pierce.

“At some point, you have to assess the entire enterprise. “I’m hoping that’s what happens by the end of the season,” Gannon remarked on “VSiN Live.” “I can’t imagine Antonio Pierce will be back next year.”

Gannon has extensive knowledge of the Raiders organization. He was their starting quarterback for six years and has stayed in their orbit. However, it is far from certain that owner Mark Davis will terminate Pierce. He’s changed coaches four times since 2021 and may not be keen to start another hunt. Pierce’s job will have to take a major hit if the season continues to deteriorate.

After dealing Davante Adams, Las Vegas virtually conceded defeat this season. They realize the playoffs are out of reach, so they’ll start collecting draft picks for a brighter future.

It will be intriguing to watch if Las Vegas can catch fire by the conclusion of the season, or if it concludes as poorly as it began.
