The Buffalo Bills ended the Kansas City Chiefs’ undefeated season in Week 11. In Buffalo’s 30-21 triumph, quarterback Josh Allen passed for 262 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He also led the club in carries with 12 for 55 yards, including a spectacular 26-yard rushing touchdown on 4th and 2 that put Buffalo up by two late in the fourth quarter.
The Bills defence also did an excellent job shutting down Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ most reliable target, tight end Travis Kelce. The 35-year-old All-Pro, who regularly puts up video game numbers versus Buffalo, was limited to only two catches for eight yards. Taylor Swift, Kelce’s girlfriend, did not attend the Chiefs-Bills game on Nov. 17, but she did get strays from fans amid the two teams’ fierce animosity.
Heading into the AFC clash, sports pundit Adam Lefkoe, a personal friend of the Kelce family, stated on “Up & Adams” that Swift was “shocked” by the “ruthlessness” of Bills Mafia while watching the AFC divisional playoff game at Highmark Stadium last January. Despite the mistaken hostility Swift experienced in Buffalo, Allen’s younger sister, Makenna Allen, who attended Swift’s Eras concert in Toronto just two days before the Chiefs-Bills game, made her feelings about the 14-time Grammy winner quite obvious. Following the game, she gushed over Swift’s performance and the Bills’ victory in the same weekend. Makenna captioned the Instagram photo, “From Taylor Swift on Friday to a Bills victory on Sunday – This weekend hit all the right notes!” #GoBills.” Nicala Madden, Allen’s other sister, said, “.” LaVonne Allen, the quarterback’s mother, commented, “Love love love you and what a weekend” While there were many Swift fans at Highmark Stadium, Ryleigh Spector, wife of Bills linebacker Baylon Spector, was not among them. She wrote on her Instagram Stories after the game, “9-2! Never a Swiftie.
This season, Swift has only attended Chiefs games in Kansas City. The 34-year-old pop star’s decision to avoid the Bills game may have had nothing to do with her past experience at Highmark Stadium, but rather with general security concerns. After terrorist threats caused the pop queen to cancel her Vienna gigs in August, she is reportedly sticking to games at Arrowhead Stadium, which already has a solid security system in place.
