It’s interesting that Goff claimed getting into the playoffs wasn’t the team’s “ultimate goal,” but it makes sense that he’s focused on winning the division first and foremost. Congratulations to Goff for taking things one day, or game, at a time.
During the postgame news conference, Goff commended the Lions’ tough defence.
“Credit (defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn) AG, credit that staff over there and credit those freaking players for playing their tails off today,” he told the crowd. “They went out there, let it hang, played hardball, and made it difficult for them.” “It was enjoyable to watch.”

Campbell also discussed the fact that the club was missing many of its starters due to injuries. Despite that difficulties, the Lions managed to win. His message was that regardless of who plays for the Lions, the team wins.
“It doesn’t matter who’s playing for us, it doesn’t matter what’s going on, you always find a way to win,” Campbell informed the crowd. “This has been in the works, man. This has been in the works. We were destined to be here together. We are intended for this. “Just stay the course.”
The Lions now have a long week before facing a dangerous opponent, the Buffalo Bills, at home on Sunday, December 15. The Lions are 12-1 entering the game, while the Bills are 10-2.
