Target of the top transfer portal Georgia Tech announced Monday that Eric Singleton Jr., who led the team in receiving the last two seasons, is headed to Auburn.
According to 247Sports, Singleton was the best receiver and the third-ranked player in the portal. Last season, he caught 56 passes for 754 yards and three touchdowns. That came after a rookie campaign in which he caught 48 passes for 714 yards and six touchdowns.
Leading receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith, who transferred from Penn State and had a stellar one season, is replaced by Singleton at Auburn.
Horatio Fields, a Wake Forest transfer receiver who finished his final season with the Demon Deacons with 39 receptions for 463 yards and four touchdowns, had already signed by Auburn.
CJ Donaldson, a running back from West Virginia, was signed by Ohio State. As a junior this season, the 238-pound Donaldson ran for 734 yards and scored 12 touchdowns, 11 of which were on the ground. According to 247Sports, he was the sixth-best running back in the portal.
