HUGE CUT: Broncos and Sean Payton Officially Cut Ties With Veteran and Experience $96 Millions Star After Latest Action On Monday Night

Levi Wallace, a former cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, has been cut by the Denver Broncos. Wallace was the starting backup at first, but once Riley Moss, the starting cornerback, was hurt, Wallace struggled greatly and was demoted. Wallace is now on the chopping block after the Broncos made several moves.

When Wallace was unable to control former Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, his troubles were broadcast nationally. Rather, a large portion of Jeudy’s career-high 235 yards came on Wallace.

Wallace spent two seasons with the Steelers. In his first season with the squad, he started every game, but in his second season, his play drastically declined. After that, the team benched him in favour of rookie Joey Porter Jr., who outperformed Wallace and Patrick Peterson, their other veteran starter.

Following a workout, Wallace agreed to a one-year contract with the Broncos. After graduating from Alabama undrafted, he signed with the Buffalo Bills. Wallace began his career with the Bills, but after four years, the franchise allowed him to become free agency.
