The Las Vegas Raiders are prepared to move on from a memorable year as the 2024 regular season draws to a close. Individual individuals, like as rookie tight end Brock Bowers, have demonstrated that there are some positive aspects to the club despite its difficulties during the entire season.
This week, Bowers also become a Raiders legend. In addition to Amari Cooper, Charles Woodson, Tim Brown, Marcus Allen, Ray Guy, and Raymond Chester, the tight end will become the eighth rookie in the history of the Raiders to be named to the Pro Bowl.
Bowers will be one of just two Raiders to qualify for the Pro Bowl this season, along with standout pass rusher Maxx Crosby. With 108 receptions for 1,144 yards and four touchdowns, he had one of the best rookie tight end seasons in NFL history.
Bowers, one of the team’s few bright spots this season, is also a strong candidate to win the NFL’s Rookie of the Year award. It is unlikely that the league will award it to a tight end, though he has earned it if he does, especially because other rookies like Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix have also performed well this season.
