Former offensive coordinator Luke Getsy is now advising the defence after coach Matt LaFleur utilized seasoned defensive coach Robert Saleh to assist the offence:

Getsy attended Friday’s practice as the Packers got ready for their season-ending matchup with the Chicago Bears. LaFleur acknowledged that Getsy has been working with the Packers for weeks as an advisor.

He’s actually been here (in person) for the first time this week. He’s been working with us, and he’s been working with the defence in a similar way to how Saleh is working with the offence,” LaFleur stated on Friday. It’s good to see him again. It’s been nice being with him; he’s simply a pleasant guy.

In 2019, during his first season in Green Bay, LaFleur hired Getsy as his quarterbacks coach. He stayed in the position for the following three seasons, working with Jordan Love during his first two seasons and Aaron Rodgers throughout his two MVP seasons.
LaFleur remarked, “It’s always great to get a different perspective, maybe something you haven’t seen.” “I’ve worked with him before, and I just trust him a lot and appreciate his viewpoint.”

Now, the Packers have two seasoned coaches supporting the other team: Saleh for LaFleur and the offence, and Getsy for Jeff Hafley and the defence.
