HUGE TRADE AGREED: Phillies Have Officially Agreed a Blockbuster Trade With Cardinals For $152 Million Infielder To Replace Alec Bohm

Alec Bohm, an All-Star third baseman, is apparently the subject of trade offers from the Philadelphia Phillies. There is a genuine chance that Bohm may be traded for an outfielder like Luis Robert Jr., even if this rumour started before the Phillies signed Jesús Luzardo.

The Phillies would have to find a replacement for Bohm if he were traded, and the ideal third baseman would be sitting in St. Louis. Nolan Arenado has reportedly listed the Phillies as one of the teams he might waive his no-trade clause for in the desperate attempt to deal him to the St. Louis Cardinals.

Arenado is the best player to take Bohm’s place at the hot corner if the Phillies trade him. If the Phillies decide to trade Bohm, this transaction would send Arenado to Philadelphia: 3B is given to the Philadelphia Phillies. Arenado, Nolan, $25 million Received by the St. Louis Cardinals: OF Gabriel Rincones Jr. (prospect number eleven) Gabriel Rincones Jr. would be acquired by the Cardinals from the Phillies in exchange for Arenado and $25 million. Should Philadelphia Phillies Go After Eight-Time All-Star To Upgrade Third Base?

Whether with the Phillies or another team, the 23-year-old will probably be mature enough to make his major league debut in 2025. In exchange for $25 million to cover half of Arenado’s remaining salary, the Phillies would acquire the seasoned leader they desire. The Phillies farm system wouldn’t be destroyed by Rincones’ departure, particularly if they traded Bohm for an outfielder. This concept ultimately boils down to whether Philadelphia wants to move Bohm at all. There is no reason to think the Phillies would consider a trade for Arenado if their third baseman remains in Philadelphia.
