NFL World and Top Commanders Rival Team Brutal Reacts To Owner Josh Harris Huge Promise To Jayden Daniels After Leading Commanders To A Historic Playoff Win

After Jayden Daniels assisted the Washington Commanders in making it to the Divisional Round, Robert Griffin III had a poignant message.

At Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, Daniels guided the Commanders to a 23–20 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The Commanders won the Wild Card matchup thanks to a lucky doink on Zane Gonzalez’s game-winning field goal.

During his first taste of NFL postseason action, the rookie quarterback appeared composed. Daniels had two touchdowns and went 24/35 for 268 yards in the win. In addition, he led his squad with 13 carries and 36 rushing yards.

Griffin praised Daniels on X after the game.

Given RGIII’s prior affiliation with the Commanders franchise, posting this message must have been a bittersweet experience.

After selecting Griffin with the second overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, Washington had great expectations that he would become their franchise quarterback. Daniels is expected to earn the Offensive Rookie of the Year honour, which went to Griffin.

Daniels demonstrated his dual-threat skills as a rookie, just like Griffin did. In their first professional seasons, both players recorded over 800 running yards and six rushing touchdowns.

However, Griffin’s journey to fame was cut short when he suffered a severe knee injury in his first postseason game, as Commanders supporters are well aware. Following his injury, RGIII’s career was never the same.

In a different universe, Griffin would have stayed healthy and won his first playoff game as a rookie, just like Daniels did, even though he has established a strong career in the media.
