BREAKING: Green Bay Packers GM Brian Willis Gutekunst Provide an Interesting Update On Brown Cut Off Star Myles Garrett After a 3-Hours Meeting

Green Bay, Wisconsin – There’s a new favourite in the next-team odds to sign standout defensive end Myles Garrett.

The Washington Commanders have gone ahead of the Las Vegas Raiders to become the new favourite at FanDuel Canada Sportsbook at +320. The Green Bay Packers remain at +750, but are now tied for fourth-shortest odds, with the Buffalo Bills ahead at +550.
Garrett has an 11.76 percent chance of ending up in Green Bay, based on implied probability.

FanDuel’s odds are only valid if there is a trade, whereas DraftKings Ontario Sportsbook’s next-team odds are valid regardless.

Packers Predicted to Cut Ties With Disappointing 1st-Round Pick - Heavy Sports

The Cleveland Browns, who have stated that they will not move Garrett, are the odds-on favourite to be Garrett’s starting team in 2025 at +300. Three teams that defeated the Packers in this year’s playoffs, the Commanders (+450), Detroit Lions (+700), and Philadelphia Eagles (+750), are ahead of them.

Green Bay is one of three teams at +1200, sharing the eighth-lowest odds. That represents a 7.69 percent chance based on implied probability.
Garrett, who won NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2023 and finished third in 2024, asked for a trade on Monday.

“It’s not a decision I take lightly,” Garrett told The Rich Eisen Show on Radio Row during the Super Bowl. “It took time and a lot of discussion. Just looking at the team’s trajectory and speaking with some of the higher-ups, I have a lot of respect for them, but I don’t think we’re on the same page about where the team is going in the near future.

Garrett said he contacted LeBron James, who has previously departed the Cleveland Cavaliers in free agency.

Garrett was seen speaking with Detroit Lions players Jared Goff and Aidan Hutchinson at the NFL Honours on Thursday. Hutchinson told the Detroit Free Press that he did not believe a trade to the Lions was likely.

Myles Garrett Asks for Trade; Packers Could Be Interested

“You can’t have that many dudes on one D-line,” stated the coach. “Who knows, but I think it’s very unlikely.”

Garrett got 14 sacks this season, marking his fourth consecutive season with at least 14 sacks. He led the NFL with 22 tackles for loss.

League executives told Packers On SI that acquiring Garrett would require two first-round picks. Because the Packers are drafting 23rd this year and are expected to have a late first-round pick next year, they would need to provide further compensation.
