BREAKING: NFL Commissioner Response To Kansas City Chiefs Match Robbery Appeal Following Footage of Eagles DT Hitting Patrick Mahomes So Hard in Face With No Call and Other Video Evidence

Patrick Mahomes suffered a severe hammering in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, taking six sacks and missing out on the elusive three-peat.

Mahomes had a forgettable night, throwing two interceptions, one of which was a pick-six in the first half, and being utterly boxed in by the Eagles’ defence, which coordinated a championship-winning performance under DC Vic Fangio.

Nothing was going Mahomes’ way during the Super Bowl blowout loss, not even the officiating.

On one contentious play in the fourth quarter, Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter, who had a major play earlier in the game that resulted in Mahomes smacking his head on the ground, smashed the Chiefs quarterback in the facemask shortly after he fumbled the ball.

Carter’s late hit did not result in a flag, but Eagles player Milton Williams was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct after the play.
The hard hit on Mahomes will most likely go unnoticed by the NFL media, which has been more focused on the viral Chiefs-refs story of late.

To be sure, the no-call probably wouldn’t have altered the outcome of the game, since the Eagles were up by more than three scores at the time, but it was a humbling moment for the three-time Super Bowl champion.
