BREAKING: Lions Star Aidan Hutchinson Verdict On Myles Garrett joining Lions: Following Lions Brad Holmes Decision/ Announcement : ‘That would be deadly’

Aidan Hutchinson, an edge rusher with the Detroit Lions, was open about his desire to play alongside Myles Garrett in the future.

Hutchinson discussed his conversation with Cleveland Browns star and Lions quarterback Jared Goff at the NFL Honours show in New Orleans on “The Squeeze” podcast, hosted by “Twilight” actor Taylor Lautner and his wife Tay.
“If me and Myles were to pair up, that would be deadly, you know?” Hutchinson stated. “I was talking to him at the Honours, and we were just discussing what could be.

And, while it’s doubtful, I think I’d be delighted to play beside him if it happened. “But, yeah, our whole D-line would be, like, totally elevated, and we’d—wow—that’d be a scary defensive line.”We get along too. I’ve seen him at a variety of events over the past few years. He texted me after I was hurt, which was good. Guys outside of your own squad approach you—so I believe he’s a good guy. If he comes, that’s terrific, but I’m not sure. We will see. But that would be great.”

Aidan Hutchinson Says Myles Garrett On The Detroit Lions "WOULD BE DEADLY!"
Garrett made news earlier this month when he publicly requested a trade from the Browns, citing a “desire to win” at this point in his professional career.

Shortly after, the Browns made it clear that they would not deal the six-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro.

That hasn’t stopped Hutchinson, the Lions fan base, or one of his colleagues from asking, “What if?”

Shortly after Garrett’s trade request was made public, Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown stated on his podcast that bringing Garrett to Detroit would significantly improve the defensive line.

“Him and Aidan (Hutchinson) and Alim (McNeill), D.J. (Reader) and all of our D-line? Bro!” St. Brown spoke heartily.
“I swear, if you have a nasty D-line, you don’t need corners. You don’t need anything. “Just play it off.”

Aidan Hutchinson having a BETTER Rookie Season than Myles Garrett?

Garrett, the 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, has averaged at least 12.8 sacks every season since entering the league in 2017, and he has not had fewer than double-digit sacks in a season since his rookie year.

Several weeks ago, MLive’s “Dungeon” talked about the possibility and probable trade situations that the Lions could present.
