On February 26th, 2025, the Wisconsin Badgers extended an offer to big-time 6’3″ 225 LB recruit Marshaun Ivy of St. Louis (MO) Cardinal Ritter 2027. He also had offers from Minnesota, Indiana, Toledo, Iowa, Purdue, and several other institutions.
Iowa invited him to their Junior Day, which was held on January 25, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ivy received an Under Armour Next Camp Series invitation on March 30th in Nashville.
Ivy Cardinal Ritter won the state championship.
Ivy is presently a sophomore football player. On December 1, 2023, he won the state title with the Cardinal Ritter College Prep football team.
He has 71 tackles this season and is a member of the varsity team. Ivy has booked visits to numerous institutions, including Louisiana State University on March 15, the University of Michigan on April 12, and the University of Iowa on April 19.
Marshaun Ivy’s Scout Report
He is a physically intimidating athlete with impressive speed and agility, allowing him to cover ground efficiently. His speed improves his ability as an outside linebacker who rushes from the edge. If he continues to grow, he may go to a defensive role with his hand on the ground.
Because of his linebacker talents, he can effectively cover both running backs and tight ends. He has a great desire for physical contact and a good work ethic, which allows him to pursue and make plays on the field.
