The series came to a thrilling conclusion in Game 5 at Dodger Stadium, where Los Angeles secured a 6-3 victory in front of a raucous home crowd. Ace pitcher Walker Buehler delivered a masterful performance, striking out nine batters over seven innings while allowing just two runs. Mookie Betts led the offensive charge with a clutch three-run homer in the fifth inning, giving the Dodgers a lead they never relinquished.
“This is what we worked for all season,” said Betts, who was named World Series MVP after batting .375 with three home runs in the series. “We knew we had the talent, and we just had to execute when it mattered most. I couldn’t be prouder of this team.”

For the Dodgers, this victory marks their eighth World Series title in franchise history and their second under manager Dave Roberts, who has led the team to the postseason in every season since taking over in 2016.
