The Georgia Bulldogs have not lost to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets since 2016. The Bulldogs did not lose a recent recruitment battle, either. On March 15, On3’s Jake Reuse reported that four-star Cartersville, Ga., wide receiver Brady Marchese gave the Bulldogs a verbal pledge. “It was kind of unbelievable, I couldn’t really believe it,” Marchese told On3. “Being a Georgia boy and experiencing such an event meant a lot to me…”Georgia is constantly at the top of my recruitment list. I want to get up there and see what it’s all about, and learn more about it than I currently know.”
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Marchese is a top 50 Georgia recruit for the 2026 class. Marchese is also a top 70 wide receiver prospect and a top 500 recruit in the 2026 class, according to the composite rankings.
Marchese will make an official visit to Georgia on June 6. Despite his verbal commitment to the Bulldogs, Reuse reported that the four-star receiver will still make official visits to Georgia Tech, the West Virginia Mountaineers, and the Virginia Tech Hokies beginning on May 30.
Marchese marks the Bulldogs’ sixth verbal commitment for the 2026 class. According to 247Sports, the receiver is ranked fifth out of six recruits.
