In 2019, Lamm agreed to a two-year contract with the Cleveland Browns. He appeared in 19 games for Cleveland, starting six of them. A major moment — and showcase for his athleticism — came in Week 13 of the 2020 season, against the Tennessee Titans. Lamm received a one-yard touchdown catch from former Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield on a trick play in a 41-35 victory.

Lamm’s journey with the Titans continued in 2021, when he signed a two-year contract. He played in 12 games, mostly as a backup, and started one at left tackle. Following his release in March 2022, Lamm spent a brief time with the Detroit Lions before joining the Miami Dolphins later that year.
Injuries Have Hit Lamm in Recent Years.
Lamm played 15 games with the Dolphins in 2024, starting seven of them. He took part in 511 offensive snaps and 63 special teams snaps. Unfortunately, his season was cut short because of a back ailment that necessitated surgery.
Despite this setback, Lamm, if fully recovered, should be a valuable asset to the Eagles.

According to PFF, the veteran offensive lineman played 441 snaps at right tackle in 2024 and 520 snaps at left tackle in 2023, indicating that he has experience playing both positions recently. If one of Philadelphia’s starting tackles is injured, Lamm would be a great backup.
In 2024, he received an 83.1 pass block grade from PFF, placing him 10th among all qualified tackles. Not bad for a potential backup. Are you also impressed? He was penalized only once last season, for 11 hurries and one quarterback hit. He did not allow a sack.
As Lamm recovers from his recent back surgery, his performance in training camp and the preseason will be critical in establishing his future role. Given that the now-departed Johnson had to fill in for both Johnson and Mailata at various points last season, having a durable and trustworthy swing tackle will be critical for Philadelphia. It appears like they may have their man in Lamm.
