The NBA’s Sunday slate of games included three big blowouts. The Golden State Warriors led the way with a 148-106 win over the San Antonio Spurs. No. 1 overall choice Zaccharie Risacher then led the Atlanta Hawks to a 145-124 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, scoring a career-high 36 points.
The Houston Rockets also performed admirably, defeating the Phoenix Suns in an away game at PHX Arena, 148–109.
The Warriors, Hawks, and Rockets combined to score at least 145 points on Sunday, the first time in over five decades. This comes from NBA on ESPN X.
Warriors fans were pleased to see their team earn an easy victory over a woeful Spurs club that is gradually falling out of contention for a Western Conference Play-In position. Brandin Podziemski, a sophomore shooting guard, led the assault for Golden State with 27 points on seven threes. The Warriors have now won back-to-back games and are sitting 
sixth in the conference with a 43-31 record. They are, however, only two games behind the Los Angeles Lakers (45-29) for the fourth seed in the West.
On Sunday, however, the Warriors did not have everything going their way. Rising sensation Jonathan Kuminga was forced to leave the game and was unable to return after re-injuring his right ankle, which had kept him out for 31 games earlier in the season.
Golden State is anticipated to provide a more detailed update on Kuminga’s status by Monday.
