BREAKING: Green Bay Packers Officially Select Oregon Ducks Defensive Star In Latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft

The Green Bay Packers have yet to make any moves for a defensive lineman this summer. It is unclear where they will go with the 23rd overall choice in the 2025 NFL Draft.

One of the most pressing requirements for this club will be on the defensive line. During the owners meetings, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst expressed confidence in the team’s existing defensive line. The truth is, Gutekunst undoubtedly realizes he needs to make another move at that position before the 2025 NFL season starts.

Now He Gets Help": Green Bay Packers Select Oregon Ducks Defensive Star In Latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft

In the most recent 2025 NFL mock draft, the Green Bay Packers choose Oregon Ducks defensive lineman Derrick Harmon.
Charles Davis of nfl.com has developed his newest mock draft for 2025. He predicts the Packers will select Derrick Harmon, a defensive tackle from the Oregon Ducks, in the 2025 NFL Draft. This decision will undoubtedly benefit Green Bay in the trenches in the future. Davis said:

“Packers DC Jeff Hafley accomplished an excellent job in his first season at Titletown. Now he assists three-time Pro Bowl DT Kenny Clark. However, if Green Bay wishes to address the opposite side of the line first, North Dakota State’s Grey Zabel would be an excellent choice as a flexible component for the inside.”

Clark struggled throughout the 2024 NFL season. Also, if the Packers chose Zabel over Harmon, many Green Bay supporters would criticize Gutekunst. It would be the Packers’ second consecutive first-round pick of an offensive tackle.

Harmon stands 6’5″ and weighs 310 pounds. During the 2024 college football season at Oregon, he had 45 tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and two pass deflections. He and Clark would make an excellent defensive line combo for the Packers.
