BREAKING: Cowboys Shake Up NFL Draft with Bold Trade to Land Massive WR, Is This The Move That Will Change Everything?

The Dallas Cowboys have a few needs as the NFL Draft approaches, but one of the most obvious is a standout wide receiver to complement CeeDee Lamb.

Dallas needs to add offensive playmakers before the draft in a few weeks, and a new NFL mock draft shows the team going all out to get their guy. According to Ian Valentino of The 33rd Team, the Cowboys traded up into the top ten to acquire Tetairoa McMillan, a gigantic 6-foot-4 wide receiver prospect from Arizona. “Dallas is the next team to move up, looking to beat the Raiders to a playmaker. Tetairoa McMillan is an excellent fit for CeeDee Lamb, with elite size and creation after the catch,” he writes.

“Dak Prescott would love to have two distinct receivers who would make his job easier. This also allows Dallas to select a running back in Round 2 rather than going for a non-premium position at No. 12.”

Last season, McMillan had 84 receptions for 1,319 yards and eight touchdowns. McMillan has surpassed 1,000 yards for the second year in a row.

With his enormous stature and ball abilities, McMillan would be an ideal receiver to combine with Lamb, who can work across the middle. If the Cowboys could snag McMillan in Round 1 then boost the running back room on Day 2, it would be a fantastic start to the draft and would pique Cowboys Nation’s interest.

The 2025 NFL Draft will take place in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with the first round on Thursday, April 24. Rounds 2 and 3 will be held on Friday, April 25, while the final rounds will take place on Saturday, April 26.

The Dallas Cowboys are making waves with a recent mock draft prediction as part of a daring endeavor to improve their offense. The squad, known for its studied yet aggressive approach to roster development, is apparently trading up to grab a top-tier wide receiver, a move that might overhaul their offensive strategy for the 2025 season.

According to the most recent mock draft, the Cowboys have targeted a gigantic 6’4″, 220-pound wide receiver with explosive speed and outstanding ball-tracking abilities. This towering playmaker would provide quarterback Dak Prescott a formidable weapon capable of dominating both the red zone and long field stretches.

With top receiver CeeDee Lamb already on the roster, adding this physical force would allow the Cowboys to create a devastating one-two punch at wideout, giving rival defenses nightmares. The move indicates Dallas’ desire to put even more pressure on rival NFC teams while also strengthening their passing attack.

As the draft approaches, everyone will be looking to Jerry Jones and the Cowboys’ front office to see whether they can pull off this high-risk, high-reward transaction. If successful, this bold strategy might vault Dallas into genuine Super Bowl contention.
