Lil Wayne has collaborated with Mitchell & Ness to blend his love for the Green Bay Packers with the upcoming release of his highly anticipated album, Tha Carter VI.
A limited-edition merchandise line is now available, including tees, hoodies, and a unique jersey.
In a statement, Weezy said, “We had to build something that reps the G while yet dripping with Tunechi taste. It’s more than just merch. It denotes legacy, loyalty, and a touch of elegance for the genuine ones.”

Earlier this week, Lil Wayne debuted the cover art for Tha Carter VI, which pays homage to various past covers in the iconic series.
The artwork, shared on Tuesday (April 22), depicts a smiling infant Weezy adorned in his characteristic face tattoos, similar to Tha Carter III and Tha Carter IV from 2008 and 2012, respectively.
Along with the artwork, Wayne debuted the project’s gear, which includes vinyls and CDs (including autographed versions), a tee, and a hoodie. You can purchase them here.
The release date for Tha Carter VI is June 6.
In his recent Rolling Stone cover story, Weezy announced a number of high-profile (and, in some cases, improbable) guests for the upcoming album, including Miley Cyrus, U2’s Bono, and opera vocalist Andrea Bocelli.
Machine Gun Kelly, dancehall icon Elephant Man, and Wayne’s 15-year-old son Kameron will all appear on the project.
Behind the boards, the producers include Wyclef Jean, Wheezy, and maybe Kanye West.
Wyclef appears to be in charge of the record and has even formed a “informal” supergroup with Wayne called the Gumbo, which also features New Orleans musicians Jon Batiste, Ledisi, Trombone Shorty, and PJ Morton.
Weezy describes the star-studded backing cast: “If there’s one thing about this album that’s different, it’s me approaching it like, ‘Man, what would I sound like on something with such and such?'”
