BREAKING: Collingwood Jamie Elliott has Committed to The Black and White, Signing a Two-Year Contract to Remain at Collingwood.

Elliott’s new contract follows a successful 2025 season in which the 33-year-old scored a career-high 60 goals, including seven instances when he scored more than four.

Elliott was promoted to the leadership group for the first time this year, reflecting his influence and impact throughout Collingwood.

Elliott, who has 219 games in 14 seasons with the Pies, has been a consistent member of the team’s forward line.
Elliott has scored 347 goals and won the Gordon Coventry Award for top goal scorer three times, including this season.

The forward expressed his excitement to stay a Pie.

“Collingwood has been my home for the past 14 years and I can’t wait to continue running out in front of the Magpie Army,” Elliott told me.

“Celebrating my 200th game earlier this year, surrounded by my family and teammates, will be an experience I never forget. I’m quite proud to be a Collingwood supporter.

“I look forward to seeing what we can achieve as a team over the coming years and creating many more memories.”

General Manager of List and Talent Strategy Justin Leppitsch congratulated Elliott on his new contract.

“Jamie is an integral part of the team and we are pleased to have him commit for another two years,” says Leppitsch.

“Throughout his 14 seasons with the Club, Jamie has been a fundamental part of our team, and his experience and football knowledge are valuable in our front lineup.

“Nothing demonstrates Jamie’s desire to learn and develop more than his promotion to the leadership group ahead of this season. Despite having almost 200 games under his belt, he is never satisfied and is constantly striving to better himself and those around him.

“We look forward to seeing Jamie in the black and white for the next two years and can’t wait for many more high-flying marks and exciting goals.”
