Gabby Agbonlahor has forecast a difficult encounter for Everton when they face Brentford in the Premier League, predicting a hefty defeat.
The form of Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, according to the talkSPORT commentator, will be difficult for the Everton defense to deal with, and he predicts a 3-0 win.
He also expressed his conviction that the West London club will find the game comfortable, despite Everton’s terrible start to the season, in which they have only scored once in their first five Premier League games.
On September 21, Agbonlahor predicted on talkSPORT’s social media channels: “Saturday 17:30, we’ve got Brentford at home against Everton.”
“I believe this will be a difficult game for Everton because Brentford have Mbeumo and Wissa in top form, scoring goals, [getting] assists, and a lot of pace and power.”
“I think Everton will have a difficult game; I see them losing 3-0.” I’m going because I believe Brentford will win easily – they have far too much to offer.”
Everton must improve their form.
With only two goals in their first five games, both coming against Sheffield United, and having lost four of their first five games to nil, the Toffees are desperate for results and stronger performances if they are to avoid the relegation.
Dyche’s team should be winning games against Fulham, Wolves, and Sheffield United, especially at Goodison Park, as was the case with the defeats to Fulham and Wolves.
Visiting Brentford brings its own set of complications. They have been in excellent form at the Brentford Community Stadium throughout their Premier League tenure, demonstrating that they are capable of defeating any team. The Toffees will face a difficult game.
Following a 1-0 loss to Arsenal, it appears that things may get worse before they get better, with their next two games against Brentford and Aston Villa, the latter in the League Cup, looking challenging.
The real issues will be raised in the weeks after these games, when Everton host Luton Town and Bournemouth in two must-win home games.
