Giovanni Lodetti, an AC Milan great, died earlier today at the age of 81. He was an important figure in the club’s history, and there will be a minute’s silence in his honor before Milan-Verona.
Milan has announced to the media that there will be a minute’s silence before tomorrow’s game against Hellas Verona. There will also be photographs of Lodetti on the big screen, allowing fans to pay tribute to the former Rossoneri player.
During the game, the Milan players will also wear a black armband. An official request has been made to Lega Serie A, which will make the final decision, but the Rossoneri do not anticipate any problems with their request.
