ESPN REPORT: Top247 QB Will Griffin feels the love from Florida, talks return visit to Gators campus

Billy Napier in Florida was the final live recruit the blue-chipper saw, and he was the first head coach to see Tampa, Florida’s Jesuit Top247 2026 quarterback Will Griffin.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Griffin has been given priority by the Gators, as seen by Napier’s two-hour visitation with him in January. Griffin, who has previously visited Gainesville multiple times, paid it forward this past weekend.

Griffin described his most recent UF encounter as “awesome.” “I worked as DJ Langway’s shadow. I believe that was a fantastic chance. I believe that regardless of the type of college, individuals should do it. For me, it just so happened to be Florida. I spent the whole day with him. We got together at the gym, watched a quick workout, then had breakfast at Metro Diner. There was some really good cuisine.

We visited the Hawkins Centre, which is where all of the work and related activities are done. Ms. Kate was his tutor and teacher. The last time I completed the academic portion, she gave me a tour. She is an amazing individual. She was undoubtedly assisting everyone else with their assignments and tests, making sure they finished them on time.
