Tottenham have agreed to buy Croatian wonderkid Luka Vuskovic, according to Fabrizio Romano.
He announced the news on social media, adding his trademark ‘here we go’ to the deal.
He stated that everything between the clubs and the player is finalized, and that the defender will join Tottenham in 2025.
On X, he wrote:
“EXCL: Tottenham have completed the agreement to sign Luka Vusković from Hajduk Split, here we go confirmed — done deal.”
“It’s all sealed on clubs and player side.”
“16 year old top talented centre back will join Spurs in 2025.”
“Exclusive story, confirmed.”
The Croatian wonderkid has been a notable player for Hajduk Split, where he is highly respected for his defensive qualities and ball-playing abilities.
Vuskovic is likely to stay with his present club, Hajduk, until he reaches 18 in order to complete his growth before joining Tottenham.
The highly promising young defender has the ability to cement his place in Tottenham’s first squad.
Should he reach his full potential with the London club, his progress might result in significant savings in the transfer market.
Under Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham continue to construct their squad with a long-term ambition in mind.
Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison, Manor Solomon, Micky van de Ven, Ashley Phillips, Brennan Johnson, and Alejo Veliz were all signed this summer.
Ange has a reputation for dealing with and developing young players. Veliz, a young striker, came off the bench against Arsenal yesterday. As a result, there is little doubt that Luka Vuskovic will be included in the first squad if he is ready by the age of 18.
