It’s no secret that the Milwaukee Bucks’ defence has struggled mightily throughout the season. Despite Adrian Griffin’s 30-13 record prior to his firing, this was actually a major factor in the decision to fire him.
The Bucks, however, essentially put an end to that story on Tuesday night when they completely shut down the Charlotte Hornets in an incredible first-half exhibition of defensive strength.
The Milwaukee Bucks shut down the Hornets with 26 points in the first half. The Hornets’ only accomplishment in the first half was that. A whole 24-minute half of basketball action, not just a quarter.
The Bucks have broken the NBA season record for the most points given up in the first half of a game with this incredible defensive performance. The Hornets went an astounding eight minutes and 26 seconds without scoring throughout the second quarter, which is clearly quite crazy.
We’ll be updating this story as it develops.
