The Draft isn’t for several weeks. However, Rome Odunze has already met with nine different teams. Four of them are not in the top ten, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. The fourth team on the list is the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Numerous athletes at the NFL Combine appear to have improved their draft prospects. Rome Odunze, for example, appeared to be an exceptional athlete. As a result, there are already rumours that teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Rams, and Indianapolis Colts may move up to get him.
“[Rome Odunze] also spent time with the Colts, Jaguars, Rams, and Steelers.” And that’s why those are interesting: they’re possible trade-up clubs. A significant trade-up for a receiver is unusual, but not impossible. Clearly, this is something to keep an eye on.”
Odunze is usually regarded as one of the top three wide receivers in the draft class. He possesses the size and strength to be an NFL beast, and his Combine stats demonstrate that he is an athletic freak. The former Washington Husky is projected to be a top ten choice, and the Steelers, Rams, or Colts may have to make a big offer to get Rome Odunze.
If that’s the case, the NFL Draft might be very exciting. Every club in the top seven could use a wide receiver. However, a team such as the New York Giants or Tennessee Titans may contemplate trading back for additional draft capital. Especially Tennessee, which presently does not have a third-round pick this year.
The rumour mill is certainly heating up, and it will only become hotter as the Draft approaches. Look for Rome Odunze to continue to attract attention from teams across the league.
