The Frenchman has been an important player for both club and country, and the 2022 World Cup finalist would undoubtedly benefit Chelsea greatly.

The 25-year-old can play left back as well as wing back. Aside from his defensive abilities, he can be fairly effective going forward and will offer a fresh dimension to Chelsea’s offense.
Hernandez is under contract with AC Milan until the summer of 2026, and the club is unlikely to let him go cheaply. A transfer in January is also doubtful. The Italian titans will not want to weaken their squad in the middle of the season.
