Everton are expected to be without four first-team players for this weekend’s Premier League match against Luton Town at Goodison Park.
Seamus Coleman, Andre Gomes, and Dele Alli are all out due to injuries that have prevented them from playing at all this season.
Left-back Vitalii Mykolenko left the game against Aston Villa in midweek with a knock and will be assessed, according to Sean Dyche in his pre-match press conference.
Momentum
Everton hasn’t won back-to-back games in any competition in a long time, but we did it this week by defeating Brentford and then Aston Villa.
We haven’t won consecutive league games since October 2022 under Frank Lampard, but we won’t have a better chance than now to do so this season.
Most people believe Luton will be relegated at the end of the season, but we’re in fantastic form with two wins and players returning to fitness, and the game is at Goodison Park.
The fans will be in tremendous form and will no doubt be pushing this team to pick up another huge three points, which will put us ahead of the other teams battling the drop.
This is a fantastic opportunity to really establish some momentum in the team ahead of the international break.
Sean Dyche will be relieved of some of the burden on his job in a few weeks.
