BREAKING NEWS: Texans New Star Stefon Diggs Shock Fans With When is Leaving Houston Texans Despite His Big Salary Contract.

The Dallas Cowboys brought back offensive lineman Chuma Edoga this week, adding depth to their trenches. Shortly before the news surfaced, it was rumored that the Houston Texans were trading for wide receiver Stefon Diggs, which was clearly a blockbuster transaction. Many Cowboys supporters quickly pointed out that Dallas will host Houston in 2024, so we should finally get to witness Trevon Diggs cover his brother in an NFL game. Trevon was clearly injured this past season when the Cowboys faced the Buffalo Bills, which would have been his first opportunity.

Stefon’s move to Texas does not put him on the same squad as his brother, but we know the two are eager to play together. Consider this: during an interview with us last year, Trevon asked Cowboys Nation to tweet about getting his brother to Dallas.

Could The Stefon Diggs Trade Backfire For Houston Texans?
Stefon appeared unapproachable at the time, given the contract deal he had recently signed with the Buffalo Bills. Nonetheless, Trevon’s willingness to take such a risk was significant.

Obviously, this comment went viral, and Stefon was soon asked about it. He said it was a dream to play with his brother.
It was last year. Between then and today, a whole season passed, which Trevon lost and Stefon found frustrating. Trevon could be found tweeting about his brother’s need to leave the Buffalo Bills at various moments throughout the season.

As previously said, this officially occurred, bringing us back to where we are now. However, in today’s reality, Stefon has a reworked contract with his new team, the Houston Texans.

This new contract permits him to become a free agent in 2025.

This is an intriguing move by the Texans, to say the least, but what matters is that Stefon will be available for free agency for the first time in his career (and, presumably, Trevon’s). For the first time, he will have the opportunity to play with his brother, and given the extension Trevon signed with the Cowboys last year, Dallas is the most natural spot for them to do so.

Stefon Diggs will be 31 years old next year, which will make betting on him more tough, but if he is coming off a strong season with the Texans, everything will be relative. By that time, CeeDee Lamb’s (hopefully) inevitable contract extension will be formally signed, and the Cowboys may be seeking for a new wingman. Given Lamb’s expected salary, it’s hard to assume he’ll be on a hefty contract.
However, the stars appear to be aligning for Trevon and Stefon to be able to play together in the NFL. At the very least, next year will bring the first true and legitimate opportunity.
