HUGE THREAT: DeMeco Ryans Reveals His Thoughts On Acquiring Stefon Diggs From Buffalo Bills

The Houston Texans made one of the greatest splashes of the offseason when they traded for Stefon Diggs.

There were whispers of Diggs being unhappy about his status with the Buffalo Bills, but it was unclear if the team would truly move away from him.
He was Josh Allen’s No. 1 target, and many believe that Diggs was a significant part of Allen’s early development to help him become one of the top quarterbacks in the AFC.

However, it looked like the Bills organization didn’t want to deal with any more turmoil or irritation from Diggs and ended up moving him to the Texans.

This may be a big upgrade for the Texans, an up-and-coming club lead by the reigning Rookie of The Year, C.J. Stroud.

Head coach DeMeco Ryans recently stated at a news conference on Diggs’ role and importance on this team, as writer Aaron Wilson emphasized.

“With Diggs, adding him as one of those guys I talked about. He’s been a tremendous player in this league for a long time,” Ryans said.

Ryans also commented about his leadership and on-field ability, and believes that Diggs can bring a similar influence to the Texans that he brought to the Bills and Minnesota Vikings.

Diggs might not have left the Bills on the best of terms, but if he can remain focused and dedicated to making the Texans the best team they can be, this could turn out to be the trade of the offseason.
Stroud and Diggs have already been seen working out together, which has made fans excited about what this team can deliver in 2024 and beyond.
