AlabamaThe National Football League selects outstanding players from the Reese’s Senior Bowl (Mobile, Alabama), and the class of 2024 honorees has been revealed. DeMeco Ryans and Marty Lyons, two former standout defensive players for the Crimson Tide, made the list. Ryan, a native of Bessemer, , played inside linebacker for the Tide from 2002 to 2005 as a decorative player. In addition to being named to the first team of the SEC, he was also named a unanimous All-American, the Lott IMPACT Trophy winner in 2005, and the SEC Defensive Player of the Year.
