HUGE CHAOS: NCAA World In Brutal Reaction Amidst Georgia Bulldogs Star Named the Most Talented Passer In College Football

On a recent episode of the Always College Football podcast, ESPN’s Greg McElroy went through an unusual exercise in which he combined the greatest traits of several quarterbacks throughout the country to create the ideal quarterback for the 2024 season.

McElroy began by taking the arm, and he went with Carson Beck of the Georgia Bulldogs.

“I think Carson Beck is arguably the most talented passer returning in the sport this year,” McElroy said in a statement. “Does that necessarily imply he has the strongest arm, the quickest release, and all of these other things? Last year, the arm would have gone to Joe Milton at Tennessee, but his efficiency wasn’t what you expected.”
Beck had a tremendous first year as Georgia’s starter in 2023, throwing for 3,941 yards (third-most in NCAA football) and 24 touchdowns.

The former four-star recruit had large shoes to fill in replacing Stetson Bennett, but what he lacked in athleticism, he made up for in arm talent.

McElroy admitted that Beck may not have the strongest arm in the country, but he does have the most arm talent overall. He also intimated that Beck could be the top pick in next year’s NFL draft.
“Arm talent across the board, I’m taking Carson Beck of the Georgia Bulldogs,” he went on to say. “Decided to return this year; I believe he would’ve been a top-10 choice. But I believe he has a good chance of being the first overall choice in 2025.
