Cooper DeJean, a fellow Iowa Hawkeyes player, recently claimed he could beat Iowa women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark in a one-on-one basketball contest.
DeJean, who was just picked by the Philadelphia Eagles, stated that Clark responded to his comments that became viral.

Clark, widely regarded as the greatest women’s college basketball player of all time, texted DeJean personally to express her feelings. DeJean expressed her response in a piece for TheSpun.
“Caitlin is an exceptional player. She has accomplished so much for women’s basketball and the University of Iowa in general. So I only respect her. After she texted me, she responded by saying that she does not believe I could beat her. I let her say that. “I think it would be fun, though,” DeJean added.

DeJean went on to remark that basketball was his first option when he started high school, but he was better suited to playing football at the high level. RAS takes into account all athletic measurements, including height and weight, vertical leap, and broad jump. DeJean tests well, but many people question his athleticism because of his appearance. His RAS score is comparable to that of fellow Philadelphia Eagles CB James Bradberry, who has previously received Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro honours.
DeJean was also an outstanding returner, which might benefit the Eagles in an NFL with revised return regulations. While DeJean has had major injuries, many pundits believe the Eagles got a value by selecting him with the No. 40 overall choice.
