NASCAR Latest News: Kyle Busch Has Shock The NASCAR community With his Latest Announcement Following Latest Conflict With his Wife Amidst Ross Chastain for ‘dumb’ move at Sonoma

Kyle Busch’s gas tank’stumbled’ on the final lap at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday, but the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion isn’t absolving Ross Chastain of colliding with him and knocking him out of the top ten.
It’s the latest in a string of poor outcomes in a season that has left Busch 15th in the standings and out of the playoffs. Over the last month, he has finished P27, P15, P35, and P12, as well as a much-publicized incident with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. following the All Star Race.

“I mean, it fumbled into [Turn] Four, but I don’t think it made a difference. I was far enough off-line, a groove and a half out of the way, and he just came barreling in and blew through my door,” Busch said on Saturday at Iowa Speedway. “Don’t know the significance, obviously, it hurt me being able to just have enough fuel to get back re-going and try to fend off the rest of the cars that were coming behind me.”

Busch didn’t mind losing that one spot at the finish line, so he left the room. Chastain stated that the contact occurred when Busch checked in.

Busch termed it ‘stupid’ and didn’t say much else.

“I don’t know,” Busch replied. “It’s just what it is. Every week on the race track, forty guys compete for some of the same real estate, and you’re bound to cross paths. It’s just dumb when it happens, like last week when I handed a whole groove to a faster car that was going to overtake me anyhow, and I got wrecked out.”
