HUGE COMMITMENT: Four-Star OT Commits to in-State Alabama Over LSU, Ohio State

Chris Kapilovic now has another priority goal to pursue.

Micah DeBose, a four-star offensive tackle, has committed to Alabama over LSU and Ohio State.

The Vigour (Ala.) High School standout committed to the Crimson Tide during his official visit to Tuscaloosa on the last weekend of June, his fourth on campus this year.
In January, the 6-foot-5, 315-pounder was among the first in-state recruits to learn that he still had an offer. Later that winter, DeBoer also visited his high school. Kapilovic and Nick Sheridan both visited DeBose in May.

He told Bama247 that the Crimson Tide was “top two” with LSU heading into the summer. The staff’s ability to make him feel important, as well as his increasing friendship with Chris Kapilovic, contributed significantly to this.

“He’s a really great guy,” he told Bama247 before to the official visit in June. “He tells me about some of the individuals he put in the league, but he doesn’t brag about it. He says he can take me wherever I want to go. With some of the colleges he’s attended and the players he’s put in the league, he’s done more with less.

Another successful weekend in Tuscaloosa cemented his choice to stay in-state and play for the Crimson Tide, a team he grew up admiring.
