DONE DEAL: Georgia Bulldogs Lands Big-Time Former Alabama Commit NCAA Top Highly Rated.

At 6 feet 2 inches and 315 pounds, Dontrell Glover is not even close to playing his final year of high school football.

He is a large, gifted recruit at an offensive line position with offers to match. Glover, a former Alabama Crimson Tide commit who has received 20 offers, abandoned his commitment at some point after Nick Saban departed the team.

Early in his recruitment process, Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs extended an offer to the Fairburn, Georgia, native. With his allegiance to Alabama broken, Glover says UGA swiftly rose to the top of his list of options.

Dontrell Glover commits to UGA football for 2025 class

Glover told On3, “After I decommitted, Georgia became my top school.” Several schools were on me when I decommitted. I returned to Georgia for the spring game after being there for a spring practice. I could picture myself coming to this area to play—both in Sanford Stadium and Athens.

Glover is enthusiastic about joining Georgia’s team and has faith in the team’s ability to succeed both now and in the future. This conclusion isn’t shocking given that Smart has created a championship program, but Glover thinks his 2025 class has the potential to be exceptional.

Glover predicted that Georgia would go above the moon. We’re going to be among those teams that are unstoppable. We are going to aim for a national title when I arrive. I am aware of that. We have a fantastic opportunity to accomplish amazing things, and Georgia will be a great state when I get there.
