Medhi Taremi was extensively linked with a move to AC Milan this summer, but talks fell through in the last weeks of the transfer window. A derby between the Rossoneri and Inter might take place in January.
Taremi has started the season with only two goals in 10 appearances across all competitions, maybe due to the events of the summer. His contract with Porto expires in June 2024, and he might go as soon as January.
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan is still interested in the Iranian international but have not decided whether to make a deal in January or in the summer. Meanwhile, Inetr is keeping an eye on the situation in the aftermath of Marko Arnautovic’s injury.
Porto have already informed the Milanese clubs that they want at least €10 million for the attacker in January. It remains to be seen whether a derby will take place in three months or whether both sides will wait until the summer.
For the time being, Milan will rely on Olivier Giroud, Noah Okafor, and Luka Jovic to fill the No.9 position.
