The Brandon Aiyuk saga continues in San Francisco, two days before the 49ers’ season opener. The wideout does not appear to be willing to work with his present team!

49ers GM John Lynch Has Blunt Take on Brandon Aiyuk Situation

Rumours circulated in February that his inner circle was spreading word of his potential exit owing to his lack of participation in Super Bowl LVIII. A few months later, the receiver fanned the whispers by unfollowing the 49ers on social media.

Since then, the firestorm has only intensified!
Reports of potential deals have come and gone, but Brandon Aiyuk appears to have turned them down at every stage. The Steelers and Patriots are among the potential bidders.

On Thursday, NFL insider Adam Schefter broke down another Cleveland Browns trade offer.
“The holdup with Cleveland has always been Brandon Aiyuk’s willingness to accept a trade to Cleveland,” Schefter stated during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show. “The contract could have been completed there if he wanted to go…” If he had wished to leave, he might have received recompense there.

“Cleveland already offered Brandon Aiyuk more money than Pittsburgh and San Francisco.”

He has tied the franchise’s hands!

With Week 1 swiftly approaching, John Lynch expects his star wideout to make a choice. He ripped into Aiyuk on Wednesday.

“I’m not going to get into our communication again, but at some point, you’ve got to play,” he stated after the receiver skipped practice.
In July, CBS Sports claimed that Aiyuk was aiming to double his current annual salary of $14.14 million, hoping to reach $30 million.

In June, the 49ers offered him $26 million, which would have placed him among the top ten earners at his position. A deal was not completed.

To this time, it appears that both parties have reached an impasse. John Lynch is ready to make a decision.
