Stefano Pioli has been at AC Milan for nearly four years, but he is still not among the league’s top three earners.
Calcio e Finanza has compiled a list of Serie A coaches’ salary for the 2023-24 season, which includes some new names like Rudi Garcia, who replaced Luciano Spalletti at Napoli, as well as those at promoted clubs.
This season, the top two coaches’ wages are Max Allegri (Juventus) and José Mourinho (Roma), both of whom earn €7 million net. Simone Inzaghi of Inter, who just renewed his contract through 2025, is also on the platform.
OStefano Pioli (Milan), Maurizio Sarri (Lazio), Rudi Garcia (Napoli), and Gian Piero Gasperini (Atalanta) are not on the podium this season, as they were last.

Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus): €7 million net per season
José Mourinho (Roma): €7 million
Inter Milan’s Simone Inzaghi: €5.5 million
Stefano Pioli (Milan): €4 million
Rudi Garcia (Napoli): €3 million
Gian Piero Gasperini (Atalanta): 3 million euros
Maurizio Sarri (Lazio): €3 million
Ivan Juric (Turin): €2 million
Thiago Motta (Bologna), €2 million
€1.7m Vincenzo Italiano (Fiorentina)
Claudio Ranieri of Cagliari: €1.5 million
€1.2m Paulo Sousa (Salernitana)
€1 million for Marco Baroni* (Hellas Verona).
Alessio Dionisi (Sassuolo): €1 million
€1 million for Raffaele Palladino (Monza).

Udinese’s Andrea Sottil: €750k
Paolo Zanetti (Empoli): 600,000 euros
