SHOCKING UPDATE: Falcons Head Coach Raheem Morris Has Officially Suspended Top Star Drake London After Refusing To Apologize.

Following the game-tying score on Monday night, Falcons wide receiver Drake London made the game-winning extra point more difficult by committing a 15-yard celebration penalty. But Falcons coach Raheem Morris is jumping to London’s defence.

London was flagged because his celebration resembled discharging a gun, which is against NFL rules. Morris stated that he did not witness London’s actions in real time, but he is convinced that London meant no harm and will not do it again.

“Initially, I didn’t see it,” Morris remarked. “I guess it was the use of a weapon, which many viewed as a punishment. Drake is a wonderful kid. His goal did not involve the use of a weapon. To be honest, he was most likely shooting t-shirts into the stands because he is that type of man. He was excited. He became excited. He’s one of those guys who plays with a lot of intensity. He instantly apologized before I had a chance to contradict him.”

Although Morris’ claim that London was actually firing a t-shirt cannon may appear preposterous, Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo rendered it irrelevant by hitting the 48-yard extra point. The Falcons were unaffected by the penalty, and Morris is convinced London is now aware of the regulation.
