BREAKING: Former Florida Football Player Janoris Jenkins and Other Senior Gators Official Wants Billy Napier Fired Because..

Former Florida football player Janoris Jenkins called for the dismissal of current Gators head coach Billy Napier on Thursday, citing reasons unrelated to the team’s poor performance on the field.

Instead, the NFL defensive back complained about his difficulty to obtain free sideline tickets.

Jenkins spent three seasons in Gainesville before pursuing an 11-year professional career. During that period, he helped the Gators win the national championship and earned All-SEC honours.

He was dismissed off the squad in 2011 after two marijuana-related incidents, but it appears he has no ill will against his former institution.

The same cannot be true of his hostility against Billy Napier.
Janoris Jenkins took to social media this week to criticize the coach for not giving him the opportunity to return to the field.
Taking it a step further, he has offered to consider his own name for the position if the Gators take his advise.
Most collegiate games across the country feature a former player or two on the sidelines. Jenkins maintains this is not the case at UF.

However, it appears that his rage is misdirected.

Many commenters believed that Florida AD Scott Stricklin implemented the policy prior to Napier’s hiring. Jenkins must not believe the coach has done enough to address the issue.

It’s an intriguing look at Napier’s future in Gainesville.
