Love’s performance will be vital for the Packers, who want to strengthen their standing in the division. The game against the Lions, who currently have a 6-1 record, provides a huge opportunity for Green Bay to establish themselves as one of the NFC’s best teams.
As the game approaches, all eyes will be on Lambeau Field to watch how Love matches up against a Lions club noted for its explosive offence and better defence. The stakes are high, with both clubs wanting to win and gain control of the NFC North standings.

Love told reporters on Wednesday that it is “realistic” that he will play against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, despite LaFleur’s “high level of concern” about the quarterback’s recent groin issue.

Love did not practice on Wednesday, but he conducted drills with several teammates in the rain on Thursday. Wearing a helmet and padding, he threw and passed the ball while conducting ball security drills. According to The Athletic, despite being a limited participant Friday and officially listed as questionable, he is likely to participate in the NFC North showdown.
