“The Lion Is Back” With our potential, it’s a waste not to strive for perfection- Lions Star QB Jared Goff Makes a Huge Promise To The Fans and a Brutal Warning To NFL World

Nobody’s perfect, but that doesn’t stop Lions quarterback Jared Goff from setting lofty goals for himself and the rest of the offence.

Goff had a perfect passer rating in last Sunday’s 52-6 victory over the Jaguars, and the club scored touchdowns on their opening seven plays of the game. They had to settle for a field goal the eighth time they had the ball, but they still led the NFL in points scored, with 32.3 points per game, the fifth-best figure in the previous 25 seasons.

All of this explains why the Lions are currently leading the NFC, but Goff wants the club to avoid complacency as the regular season comes to a close. Goff stated on Wednesday that “none of this is easy” and that it requires “a lot of hard work” to continue playing at a high level, therefore he is establishing a high standard for the squad.

“We know what our potential can be,” Goff said, according to Jared Ramsey of the Detroit Free Press. “So it’s pointless if you don’t aim for excellence. It’s never easy to achieve your goals, but we have a bunch of individuals who are extremely talented, dedicated workers, and aspire to greatness.

Perfection may be beyond reach, but the franchise’s first Super Bowl appearance might suffice.
