MORE HEAT ON PACKERS: OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT- NFL Issues Official Verdict Following Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur Defense Why He Got Into Spat With Lions Fan

Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur has responded after being caught on camera in a pre-game verbal altercation with a Detroit Lions fan.

The NFL GameDay team was previewing the clash Thursday night when the cameras focused on the Packers coach, who was definitely yelling at someone on the field. Turns out he was squaring off with a Lions fan (we might guess because he was wearing a Brian Branch jersey), who appeared to be one of the persons carrying the massive American flag on the field during a pregame ceremony.

Take a peek (language caution).
Nothing is more American than waving a flag and hollering about sports. Just kidding! Kind of. Anyway, LaFleur was questioned after the game about what the heck was happening.

“I’ve never been a part of something like that,” he told me. “He was talking junk to our players, giving them the ‘throat slash’ sign, and you’re trying to de-escalate it, and then he gets in my face I thought it was pretty unsportsmanlike.”
Oops, my finger slid.

“I’ve never seen that. I’ve been on several fields, and they normally police them much better,” LaFluer said. “I assumed it was an egotistical fan who wanted a piece of the action. “I’d like security to intervene and remove them from the situation.”

It looks Dan Skipper did not despise it.

Xavier McKinney was recently asked about his feelings about facing Amon-Ra St. Brown, who famously wore a “Green Bay Sucks” shirt in their previous battle.

Alex Anzalone is urging the crowd from the sidelines. Actually, he was in a suite, seated next to Aidan Hutchinson. It’s great to see them still in the building, supporting their team.
